Kate Winslet\u2019s nudity days are \u201cnumbered.\u201d<\/p>\n

Winslet is so famous for baring it all in her films that her IMDb profile lists<\/a> her \u201cvoluptuous figure\u201d as her trademark. However, the 45-year-old actress told the New York Times<\/a> that she may be done baring it all.<\/p>\n

Reflecting on her \u201cvery hot grandma\u201d sex scene<\/a> in her newest project \u201cMare of Easttown,\u201d the star said: \u201cI think my days are getting a little bit numbered of doing nudity.\u201d<\/p>\n

The actress portrays Mare Sheehan, a police investigator in a small Pennsylvania town in the HBO show that\u2019s garnering Emmy buzz. <\/p>\n

Winslet starred in one of the most famous nude movie scenes of all time when the then-21-year-old actress strip<\/a>ped down to be painted by a young Leonardo DiCaprio in 1997\u2019s \u201cTitanic.\u201d \u201cDraw me like one of your French girls,\u201d she cooed in her infamous, oft-memed line.<\/p>\n

The English star now acknowledged her change in attitude toward nude scenes, saying, \u201cI\u2019m just not that comfortable doing it anymore. It\u2019s not even really an age thing, actually.\u201d<\/p>\n

Winslet\u2018s real fear, she explained, is that \u201cthere comes a point where people are going to go, \u2018Oh, here she goes again.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Winslet also asked the show\u2019s director, Craig Zobel, to leave her body untouched for the final cut of a sex scene with Guy Pearce. She told the New York Times that Zobel \u201cassured her he would cut \u2018a bulgy bit of belly\u2019\u201d from the scene and she told him, \u201cDon\u2019t you dare.\u201d<\/p>\n

Although she may be finished exposing herself in that way, she said she is adamant about staying au naturel. <\/p>\n

The four-time Golden Globe winner sent HBO\u2019s promotional poster back two times<\/a> before final app<\/a>roval because it was too retouched for her liking.<\/p>\n

She also disclosed other tricks the crew performed to keep her character looking like a real middle-aged woman, including using dark lighting to make her naturally glowing skin duller, using minimal makeup and riding a Peloton to enlarge her thigh muscles and change her walk. <\/p>\n

\u201cListen, I hope that in playing Mare as a middle-aged woman \u2014 I will be 46 in October \u2014 I guess that\u2019s why people have connected with this character in the way that they have done because there are clearly no filters,\u201d she said. \u201cShe\u2019s a fully functioning, flawed woman with a body and a face that moves in a way that is synonymous with her age and her life and where she comes from. I think we\u2019re starved of that a bit.\u201d\n <\/p><\/div>\n
