With that as the backdrop,\u00a0<strong>Hugh Jackman<\/strong> plays a \u201cprivate investigator of the mind\u201d (hell yes) who meets an alluring femme fatale, played by <em>Mission: Impossible<\/em>\u00a0actress <strong>Rebecca Ferguson<\/strong>, and quickly becomes obsessed with her.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the film\u2019s impressive production design, sleek visual style, and mind-related plot mechanics, <em>Reminiscence<\/em> is not related to Christopher Nolan\u2019s <em>Inception<\/em>. (We think.) But take a look at the first full trailer and see what Joy was able to craft during her first time in the director\u2019s chair.<br \/><span id=\"more-674255\"><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Reminiscence_Trailer\"><\/span>Reminiscence Trailer<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><!-- SlashFilm_300x250_In_Post --><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Reminiscence - Official Trailer\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/_BggT--yxf0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Joy wrote, directed, and produced this movie, which <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ears to be the type of original film aimed at adults that we often blame Hollywood for not making very much these days. Jackman as a mind investigator seems like a slam dunk, and I love seeing him partnered up with <strong>Thandiwe Newton<\/strong>, who has worked extensively with Joy on the HBO <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> <em>Westworld<\/em>. A case could be made that Jackman is at his best when he plays obsessive characters (<em>The Prestige<\/em>, <em>Prisoners<\/em>, etc.), and I\u2019m curious what he\u2019ll add to the long lineage of cinematic detectives who become obsessed with a dame who saunters into their office. And Ferguson, who is so great in the recent <em>Mission: Impossible<\/em> films, seems to be really embracing the fun of playing a mysterious character who seems to potentially be harboring some kind of dark secret.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s the movie\u2019s official synopsis:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Nick Bannister (Hugh Jackman), a private investigator of the mind, navigates the darkly alluring world of the past by helping his clients access lost memories. Living on the fringes of the sunken Miami coast, his life is forever changed when he takes on a new client, Mae (Rebecca Ferguson). A simple matter of lost and found becomes a dangerous obsession.
