Outspoken right-wing radio host and City Council candidate Heshy Tischler was assaulted outside his Borough Park home this week, authorities said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Tischler was sitting in his car waiting to pick up his granddaughter on 43rd Street near 17th Avenue around 5:20 p.m. Wednesday when a man stepped out of a gray sedan and threatened him, according to police.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI know where you live,\u201d the suspect allegedly said. \u201cI will get you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tischler got out of his car and started recording \u2014 prompting the man to knock the phone out of his hands, police said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Then a second suspect got out of the car and punched him twice in the face and head, according to police.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The duo took off and remains at large.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Tischler knew the men from a previous rally that he had attended \u2014 where he exchanged words with the two suspects, sources told the Yeshiva World<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He immedia<\/a>tely recognized them when they showed up at his home.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI did not strike back. He struck me in front of many witnesses here in the streets of Borough Park,\u201d Tischler said in a video posted to Twitter. \u201cIn front of my wife, in front of my granddaughter, in front of my house, he came out here. He couldn\u2019t knock me down. We must fight back. We must stand up. \u201c<\/p>\n

\u201cThey came to the center of Borough Park, to my house, to get me!\u201d he said. \u201cI hope they catch the guy, because I want him to be careful, because I\u2019m going to catch him. This is not going away so fast.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tischler pleaded guilty last month to charges that he egged on a mob to attack a reporter during an anti-lockdown protest last year.<\/p>\n

He was sentenced to 10 days of community service after copping to a misdemeanor charge Friday of \u201cinciting a riot\u201d that led to protesters attacking journalist Jacob Kornbluh in Borough Park on Oct, 7, Brooklyn DA spokesman Oren Yaniv said at the time.<\/p>\n

Kornbluh, an Orthodox Jew was punched and kicked by an angry crowd who screamed at him, calling him \u201cNazi\u201d and \u201cHitler\u201d amid protests over the state\u2019s new coronavirus restrictions. The unruly protesters app<\/a>eared to be encouraged by Tischler.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
