He\u2019s just out for [Saturday] and kind of day-to-day after that,\u201d coach Steve Nash said. \u201cSo, just gonna continue to monitor it and then over the course of the next two, three days, hopefully get a clearer picture.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s working out. \u2026 I shouldn\u2019t comment on that because in case I get it wrong, but I definitely see him with our strength and conditioning team and performance team, doing his thing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Green hasn\u2019t played since suffering a left plantar fascia strain on May 25. So, we miss Jeff\u2019s versatility and what he brings versatility-wise, but he wasn\u2019t necessarily earmarked to cover Giannis,\u201d said Nash, who added that DeAndre Jordan could return to the rotation for the first time since May 8.<\/p>\n<p>Jordan sat out nine consecutive games \u2014 and 10 of 11 since Antetokounmpo torched the Nets for 49 and 36 points in back-to-back games May 2 and 4 in Milwaukee.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are going to be multiple people who\u2019ll get a chance,\u201d Nash said. \u201cDJ is definitely in play, Nic\u2019s in play, and BG as well. So it\u2019s going to be by committee. [Antetokounmpo] is a terrific player as we all know, and is a really difficult matchup for every team. And he\u2019ll be difficult for us; but we\u2019ve got to take the challenge.\u201d<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n<p>James Harden is relishing the challenge of gunning for a title. After falling to several powerhouses in the playoffs, including the Warriors four times, he\u2019s confident in this Nets team \u2014 as long as they\u2019ve learned their lesson.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvery year your plan is to win a championship \u2014 that\u2019s every players dream and mindset every single year. Obviously, in reality it\u2019s only a handful of teams that have an opportunity, and we\u2019re one of those teams this year,\u201d Harden said. \u201cSo the excitement is there, but the focus is the most important thing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201c[It was] a learning experience Game 3 in Boston where we didn\u2019t hang our hats on the defensive end and it showed. We let Jayson Tatum get 50 on us.
