“#Twitter<\/a> begins rolling out product to undo tweets<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

Twitter\u00a0Inc on Thursday said it will roll\u00a0out\u00a0a new\u00a0subscript<\/a>ion\u00a0product\u00a0initially in Australia and Canada called\u00a0Twitter\u00a0Blue, which will let paying users edit their\u00a0tweets\u00a0before posting and change the color theme of their\u00a0app.<\/p>\n

Details of the feature were first uncovered last month by software engineer Jane Manchun Wong, who is well-known in the tech industry for reverse engineering\u00a0apps and discovering new features before they are officially launched.<\/p>\n

Twitter\u00a0Blue is the social media company\u2019s first\u00a0subscription\u00a0offering, and a significant move as it works to gain a new consistent source of revenue and expand beyond its core business of selling advertising on the platform.<\/p>\n

Avid\u00a0Twitter\u00a0users, who for years have demanded an \u201cedit\u201d button to fix typos in their\u00a0tweets, will now be able to set a timer of up to 30 seconds, giving them a window to click an \u201cundo\u201d button and edit\u00a0tweets\u00a0before they are posted.<\/p>\n

The new feature will also let users organize their saved\u00a0tweets\u00a0into bookmark folders, so they can easily find content later.<\/p>\n

Long threads of multiple\u00a0tweets\u00a0will be easier to read through a new \u201creader mode\u201d on the service,\u00a0Twitter\u00a0said.<\/p>\n

Twitter\u00a0Blue will cost C$3.49 ($2.90) or A$4.49 ($3.48) per month in Canada and Australia respectively.<\/p>\n

The service will cost $2.99 per month in the United States according to\u00a0app\u00a0details in\u00a0Apple\u2019s\u00a0App\u00a0Store.<\/p>\n

The company did not provide details on when\u00a0Twitter\u00a0Blue would be available to U.S. users.\u00a0\n <\/p><\/div>\n
