Publisher Why So Serious? and developer WSS Playground have announced science<\/a>-fiction mystery adventure game EDEN.schemata();<\/em> for PC (Steam<\/a>). It will launch between 2021 and 2022. <\/span><\/p>\n

Featuring multi-ending scenarios illustrated by Van Madoy (Revoir<\/em> series<\/a>, Murder at Kogetsukan<\/em> (Fate\/GrandOrder<\/em>)), with each subsequent playthrough you\u2019ll discover new facts, gradually closing in on the truth. With each new revelation, the UI transforms\u2014as does the game itself\u2014in this all-new style of adventure game.<\/p>\n

The story and UI come together, and the general game design gradually transforms, providing an all-new, almost magic trick-like game experience.<\/p>\n

At the beginning of the project, I thought, \u201cIs there even anything left for me to do in the world of mystery games that my predecessors haven\u2019t already done themselves?\u201d However, as development progressed, I reconsidered and thought, \u201cMaybe I can realize the ideal mystery via the medium of video games.\u201d The concept of this game is \u201ca mystery that can be solved over and over again\u201d. I hope you enjoy the experience of solving the kind of mystery that is only possible with video games \u2013 one that\u2019s sort of different from other \u201cmulti-ending\u201d games.<\/p>\n

Direction \/ Development: EIKI<\/strong> (Gensou SkyDrift<\/em>, Living in the Ending World<\/em>)<\/p>\n

I consider the \u201cadventure\u201d genre to actually be a no-rules, cross-species battle. We bring you an all-new breakthrough adventure worthy of its striking visuals and writing.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s the point of using hand-drawn animation to express characters in games, especially in adventure-style stand-up fashion? Well, I\u2019d like to give any answer other than \u201cThis is the only way I can!\u201d, so let\u2019s say it\u2019s that I\u2019m striving to depict my art in a way that shows the pleasure and rawness of animation in an adventure layout.<\/p>\n

Sound: RD-Sounds<\/strong> (Sacrament (Vatican Miracle Examiner ED)<\/em>, Absolute One-way Street ~Unreachable Message<\/em> (Touhou Project<\/em> arrangement track))<\/p>\n

A story is, after all, a combination of pictures, sounds, and stories.<\/p>\n

Game scenes, controls, background music, sound effects, story, visuals\u2026 I want to find out just what I can do using sound to fuse all of these elements together in order to tell a \u201cstory\u201d in a game.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
