An irate panhandler threw a cup of water \u2014 and spewed hate \u2014 at an Asian mom and her young daughter in Midtown this week when the victim refused a request for a handout, police said Saturday.<\/p>\n

The ugly incident happ<\/a>ened on Wednesday at around 7:30 a.m. when the 45-year-old mother and her 6-year-old daughter were approached by a woman as they waited for a school bus at West 43rd Street and Third Avenue, cops said. <\/p>\n

The woman, who was in her 20s, asked the mom for money, and she declined.<\/p>\n

The suspect then went into a nearby Starbucks with a male companion, came back outside and hurled a cup of water in the direction of the mom and child, hitting them in the feet, as she screamed \u201cF\u2013k you, c\u2014k!\u201d cops said. <\/p>\n

No one was injured and there are no arrests, police said.<\/p>\n

The NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
