Former President Donald Trump\u00a0on Saturday returned to the political stage to demand China pay reparations over the pandemic \u2014 and rail against Big Tech over censorship and its alleged interference in the 2020 election, which he blasted as the \u201ccrime of the century.\u201d<\/p>\n

Speaking in Greenville, North Carolina, Trump called on China to pay $10 trillion in reparations to the US and the rest of the world for its handling of the virus, which has killed more than 3.7 million people worldwide.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe time has come for America and the world to demand reparations and accountability from the Communist Party of China,\u201d the former president said. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe should all declare within one unified voice that China must pay.\u201d<\/p>\n

He said that nations across the world should also cancel their debt to Beijing.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a first step all countries should collectively cancel all debt they owe to China as a down payment on reparations,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Trump also called Dr. Anthony Fauci a poor doctor, but a \u201cgreat promotor\u201d for his constant app<\/a>earances on television.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s a nice guy, a great promoter, not a great doctor, but he\u2019s a hell of a promoter,\u201d Trump said. <\/p>\n

Trump also claimed that social media<\/a> giants interfered in the 2020 election \u2014 singling out Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg for allegedly shelling out millions to help election offices in \u201chighly Democrat areas\u201d adapt to the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat election will go down\u00a0as the crime of the century and our country is being destroyed by people who perhaps have no right to destroy it,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cZuckerberg broke the law spending millions of dollars \u2014 don\u2019t you think he broke the law in getting out the vote efforts in highly Democrat areas?\u201d<\/p>\n

The former president also railed against Big Tech censorship \u2014 and addressed Facebook\u2019s decision to suspend his account for another two years.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey say they may allow me back in two years. I\u2019m not too interested in that,\u201d Trump said. <\/p>\n

\u201cThey may allow me back in two years. We got to stop that. We can\u2019t let it happen. So unfair. They are shutting down an entire group of people. Not just me. They are shutting down the voice of a much more powerful and a much larger group.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump\u2019s appearance at the North Carolina Republican Convention was the first in a planned series<\/a> of speaking engagements this summer.<\/p>\n

The ex-president used the speech to also slam the Biden administration for its border control policies, claiming that illegal crossings over the US-Mexico border have soared since he left office.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe never had a problem, and now they blew that one too,\u201d Trump said. <\/p>\n

\u201cAfter we instituted these policies the number of illegal aliens declined by 91 percent, but under Joe Biden illegal crossings are up by 1000 percent compared to the same period last year. They\u2019re emptying their prisons, they\u2019re sending murderers, drug dealers, human traffickers and others just as bad to the United States.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump said that the Democrats have \u201cintentionally and systematically destroyed the sovereign borders of the United States of America.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cBiden has halted wall construction, suspended removals of horrible, horrible people, stopped enforcement and our groundbreaking \u2018Remain in Mexico\u2019\u00a0[policy],\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cDespite the worst border crisis in history, we\u2019ve had the smallest number of illegal aliens ever removed. Ninety-two percent had criminal records, and now they\u2019re all being released back into your communities. The border is just the beginning of the Biden disasters,\u201d he said.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
