An MTA bus driver was punched by a passenger after he asked the man to turn down his music in The Bronx on Saturday afternoon.<\/p>\n

The 66-year-old was driving the BX41 on East Fordham Road and Webster Avenue in the Fordham section just before 5 p.m., when he confronted a straphanger about the loud music, police said.<\/p>\n

Instead of complying with the driver\u2019s request, the punk beat the man with his fists before getting off the bus and fleeing down Webster, according to the NYPD.<\/p>\n

The driver was taken to St. Barnabas hospital in unknown condition, police said.<\/p>\n

The pugnacious passenger was still on the loose on Saturday night, according to authorities.<\/p>\n

MTA officials could not immedia<\/a>tely provide additional details.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
