Yesterday’s\u00a09-hour charity stream<\/strong><\/span><\/a>\u00a0was held for the benefit of\u00a0Best Friends Animal Society<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, a charity maintaining no-kill shelters for homeless pets and helping them find homes. Fans blasted through Amelia’s initial $50,000 goal in three minutes \u2014 within literal moments of the stream beginning.<\/p>\n

“You guys ruined it!” Amelia shouted joyfully, commenting on plans for the stream that included game<\/a>s, special events, and a cool meter that would go up as goals were passed. The stream went on with a new goal of $100k \u2014 which was achieved in 30 minutes.<\/p>\n

The page also indicates an even earlier original goal of $15,000, as well as milestone rewards like voice packs, horror game streams, and song covers.<\/p>\n
