The June 5 advance screening event for <\/span>The Case Study of Vanitas<\/span><\/i> has revealed the July 2 premiere date and additional cast for the anime<\/a>. A new visual and PV was also revealed, alongside the announcement that the anime will be split into two-cour. The second half\u2019s premiere date will be revealed at a later date.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Case Study of Vanitas<\/span><\/i> will be <\/span>directed<\/span> by Tomoyuki Itamura (<\/span>Nisemonogatari, Owarimonogatari, Tsukimonogatari<\/span><\/i>) at Studio Bones. Deko Akao (<\/span>Noragami, Snow White with the Red Hair<\/span><\/i>) is serving as script<\/a> supervisor and Yoshiyuki It\u014d (<\/span>Carole & Tuesday<\/span><\/i>) as character designer and chief animation director. Sasanomaly will perform the opening theme song \u201cSora to Sora\u201d (\u201cSky and Sky\u201d).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Rumors revolving around The Book of Vanitas, a clockwork grimoire of dubious reputation, draw No\u00e9, a young vampire in search of a friend\u2019s salvation, to Paris.
