Demon Slayer \u2013 Kimetsu no Yaiba \u2013 The Movie: Mugen Train<\/em> will be available for streaming in Southeast Asia via the Bilibili streaming platform on June 16.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The news<\/a> comes from Bilibili Thailand, which tweeted that the movie will release on 11:00 AM (GMT+8).\u00a0 It also tweeted that Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, Cambodia, Malaysia, and Brunei will get access to Mugen Train<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

A sequel to the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba<\/em>\u00a0series<\/a>, Mugen Train<\/em> was released in various SEA countries from late 2020 to early 2021. It premiered in Japan in October 2020. The movie is the top-grossing movie in Japan as well as the #1 highest-grossing movie of 2020.<\/span><\/p>\n

Next in line for Demon Slayer<\/em> is the second season of the series, which will premiere sometime in 2021. The series and movie are produced by Ufotable and based on the manga<\/a> series by Koyoharu Got\u014dge.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is the Taisho Period in Japan. Tanjiro, a kindhearted boy who sells charcoal for a living, finds his family slaughtered by a demon. To make matters worse, his younger sister Nezuko, the sole survivor, has been transformed into a demon herself. Though devastated by this grim reality, Tanjiro resolves to become a \u201cdemon slayer\u201d so that he can turn his sister back into a human, and kill the demon that massacred his family.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
