“#Mugen Train in Southeast Asia<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

Video-streaming site Viu announced on Facebook<\/a> that the <\/span>Demon Slayer \u2013 Kimetsu no Yaiba \u2013 The Movie: Mugen Train<\/span><\/i> film will be available on the site for <\/span>Singapore<\/span><\/a>, the <\/span>Philippines<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Malaysia<\/span><\/a>, and <\/span>Indonesia<\/span><\/a> from June 16 onwards. Bilibili <\/span>made<\/span> a similar announcement, with the film dropping on the same day as Viu for Southeast Asia.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A sequel to the <\/span>Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba<\/span><\/i> series<\/a>,<\/span> Mugen Train<\/span><\/i> was <\/span>released in various SEA countries<\/span> from late 2020 to early 2021, and <\/span>screened<\/span> in North America on April 23 this year. It premiered in Japan in October 2020. The film is the <\/span>top-grossing film in Japan<\/span> as well as the <\/span>#1 highest-grossing film of 2020<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The second season of the series is <\/span>slated<\/span> to premiere in 2021, with Ufotable returning to animate the series. The franchise is based on the manga<\/a> series by Koyoharu Got\u014dge.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Tanjiro and Nezuko, along with Zenitsu and Inosuke, join one of the most powerful swordsmen within the Demon Slayer Corps, Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku, to face the demon aboard the Mugen Train on track to despair.<\/span><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

It is the Taisho Period in Japan. Tanjiro, a kindhearted boy who sells charcoal for a living, finds his family slaughtered by a demon. To make matters worse, his younger sister Nezuko, the sole survivor, has been transformed into a demon herself. Though devastated by this grim reality, Tanjiro resolves to become a \u201cdemon slayer\u201d so that he can turn his sister back into a human, and kill the demon that massacred his family.<\/span><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n\n
