{"id":270228,"date":"2021-06-09T16:13:00","date_gmt":"2021-06-09T13:13:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.buradabiliyorum.com\/texas-hospital-workers-suspended-for-refusing-covid-vaccine\/"},"modified":"2021-06-09T16:13:00","modified_gmt":"2021-06-09T13:13:00","slug":"texas-hospital-workers-suspended-for-refusing-covid-vaccine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/texas-hospital-workers-suspended-for-refusing-covid-vaccine\/","title":{"rendered":"#Texas hospital workers suspended for refusing COVID vaccine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;<strong>#Texas hospital workers suspended for refusing COVID vaccine<\/strong>&#8221;<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>A Houston-based hospital system has suspended 178 employees without pay for two weeks for refusing to get the coronavirus vaccine, according to reports.<\/p>\n<p>Houston Methodist CEO Marc Boom wrote in an internal message <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/nation\/2021\/06\/08\/houston-hospital-workers-suspended-vaccine\/\">obtained by the Washington Post<\/a> Tuesday that nearly 25,000 of the health care system\u2019s employees were fully vaccinated by Monday\u2019s deadline \u2014 but some chose not to comply.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOf these employees, 27 have received one dose of vaccine, so I am hopeful they will get their second doses soon,\u201d Boom wrote. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI know that today may be difficult for some who are sad about losing a colleague who\u2019s decided to not get vaccinated.
