Overwatch<\/em> will soon implement cross-play, allowing users to team up regardless of their preferred platform, developer Blizzard Entertainment announced<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n

With the release of cross-play, all players will need to create a Battle.net account to link to their console accounts. Additionally, everyone who logs in to Overwatch<\/em> by the end of 2021 will receive a \u201cGolden Loot Box\u201d to celebrate.<\/p>\n

Cross-play will launch in the beta phase. The Overwatch<\/em> development team will be monitoring feedback and look to make improvements on the feature moving forward.<\/p>\n
