Saquon Barkley refuses to set a timetable for his full recovery.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m taking one day at a time,\u201d he said over and over and over.<\/p>\n

Asked if he was cutting or jumping, he smiled and said: \u201cI\u2019m doing well. I\u2019m doing pretty well, just taking one day at a time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Barkley is nearly nine months removed from the devastating torn ACL he suffered Week 2 in Chicago.<\/p>\n

He longs for the day when he can rejoin his teammates \u2013 and be Saquon Barkley again.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been peeking out the window,\u201d he said, and smiled.<\/p>\n

The Giants are keeping their fingers crossed that he can return to his Offensive Rookie of the Year form so they can reward him with a Giant\u00a0For Life contract. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a special to be [here]. But when it comes to the contract issues, that\u2019s not even something that even crosses my mind.\u201d\n <\/p><\/div>\n
