Some of these changes have been more successful than others. The taskbar now has a Weather and News widget, but you may not like that. Thankfully, it\u2019s easy to disable it.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cNews and Interests\u201d widget started rolling out to Windows 10 PCs in June 2020. It\u2019s pretty hard to miss when it <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ears. You\u2019ll see a weather forecast in a small box next to the clock and notification area. Selecting the widget opens a panel with more weather info, stocks, sports scores, news, and more.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-733401 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/image-8.png?trim=1,1&amp;bg-color=000&amp;pad=1,1\" alt=\"News and Interests panel.\" width=\"649\" height=\"458\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Not interested in having a Bing-powered weather and news widget on your taskbar? No problem, it\u2019s easy to get rid of it. The weather widget will no longer be present in your taskbar.
