A gas station in Celina, Tennessee, went viral after tweeting about a trucker who just might be the 40-year-old comedia<\/a>n\u2019s doppelg\u00e4nger. <\/p>\n

And Schumer herself even hit social media, wondering what was going on.<\/p>\n

An image of Amelia, allegedly a truck driver who makes regular pit stops in Clay County, was shared Thursday afternoon<\/a> on the Twitter account for what is reportedly the Celina 52 Truck Stop. <\/p>\n

\u201cPrize winner Amelia wanted us to point out that her teardrop tattoo is not because she murdered anyone. She accidentally killed a pedestrian once after falling asleep at the wheel and got the tattoo to honor their memory,\u201d they wrote, without acknowledging Schumer\u2019s similarity, alongside an image of the alleged lookalike, who was captured wearing a profane shirt from the Celina 52 online T-shirt store. <\/p>\n

It was only after several followers began to point out her resemblance to Schumer that their post went viral, now liked by more than 14,500 users. <\/p>\n

\u201cThis is Amy Schumer,\u201d responded writer Kimberly Nicole Foster<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\u201cAmy Schumer is trending because of a truck stop pic and NO ONE IS TALKING ABOUT THIS???\u201d added author Norb Aikin<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Since then, the \u201cTrainwreck\u201d and \u201cI Feel Pretty\u201d star tweeted her own confused reaction: \u201cWait, what\u2019s going on at a truck stop? -me,\u201d accompanied by a crying emoji. <\/p>\n

A representative for Schumer has not responded to a request for comment from The Post.<\/p>\n

When their initial post went viral, Celina 52 attempted to calm things down, responding<\/a>, \u201cQuit calling her Amy Schumer. Amy Schumer doesn\u2019t have a tattoo for accidentally running over a pedestrian.\u201d <\/p>\n

In an interview with The Post, Danny Brine \u2014 who claimed to be a truck stop shift manager \u2014 said that Amelia\u2019s \u201cteardrop tattoo story is real\u201d and claimed that the rest area is indeed a real place. <\/p>\n

However, The Post was unable to verify claims by Brine, who said he doubles as a social media assistant there.<\/p>\n

According to Brine, Celina 52 is just a pseudonym for the actual truck stop, which is located in Upper Cumberland, Tennessee. The reason for the fake name? The business\u2019 social media accounts are rife with raunchy, offensive and sometimes racist content.<\/p>\n

\u201cDue to our content, we must use this name,\u201d Brine explained. \u201cThe real location has been around since the early \u201980s.\u201d<\/p>\n

Whether Brine\u2019s claims are true, the page\u2019s social media content features unprintable photos taken at the apparently bona fide truck stop that Brine said are photoshopped to include off-color wordplay and otherwise politically incorrect theme<\/a>s in the signage. A related Facebook account also has 50,000 followers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese aren\u2019t our actual opinions,\u201d he continued, \u201cbut the best moments are when someone thinks a post is 100% serious and gets upset about it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Some tweeters, according to a Snopes report<\/a>, haven\u2019t gotten the joke. \u201cThis HAS to be a troll,\u201d wrote one confused reader<\/a>. \u201cA setup. Something. No way this is real.\u201d<\/p>\n

But causing Schumer to trend on Twitter was never in their plan, according to Brine. <\/p>\n

\u201cI can see why people think she looks like Amelia \u2026 I\u2019ve never really watched any of her comedy,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Another clarification: The \u201cStop Pooping In Our Parking Lot\u201d sign contained in the initial tweet isn\u2019t real \u2014 but the stories are. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe pooping in parking lots happens way too often,\u201d Brine said.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
