In a recent Dom Kennedy and Hit-Boy interview, <em>HipHopDX<\/em> asked the rapper-producer duo who they consider the best three L.A. spitters of all time. After settling on including greater Los Angeles, they came to a unanimous decision.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s tough, but you know who they are honestly,\u201d Dom Kennedy said. \u201cMy favorite artist of all time out of any of this shit is DJ Quik, but if we just going pure rappers, it\u2019s Snoop [Dogg], Nipsey [Hussle] and Ice Cube. Them would be people that it would be impossible to say we move forward without \u2026 It\u2019s a lot of great ones, you know I coulda added Dot on there, Kendrick [Lamar], a lot of people. It\u2019s at least three, four or five, me even being one of them. But I would say that those people, that\u2019s who we needed to get the job done.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hit-Boy added, \u201cI\u2019m running with that same list to be honest, not even no funny- that shit for real.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>They also talked about the standout verses on the Hit-Boy-produced \u201c1 Train,\u201d A$AP Rocky\u2019s posse cut featuring Kendrick Lamar, Joey Badass, Yelawolf, Danny Brown, Action Bronson and Big K.R.I.T., along with Kanye West, JAY-Z and Big Sean\u2019s \u201cClique.\u201d During the debate, Hit-Boy revealed Ye, Hov and Sean originally recorded their lyrics to Dom Kennedy\u2019s 2011 song \u201cCDC,\u201d which features Casey Veggies and cARTer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou wanna know some funny shit, bro?\u201d Hit-Boy said. \u201c\u2018Clique\u2019 started from a beat I gave Dom. They recorded the original \u2018Clique\u2019 to the \u2018CDC\u2019 beat and then I flipped it, so that was crazy bro. Casey Veggies &amp; cARTer)\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/_g3OoTu8rUE?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The pair were also tasked with picking each other\u2019s best verses and beats, with Hit-Boy im<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>tely naming \u201cPlatinum Chanel\u201d off <em>From the Westside with Love II.<\/em> Dom Kennedy struggled to pick just one beat, but referenced Nipsey Hussle\u2019s Grammy-winning \u201cRacks in the Middle\u201d as being the same caliber as an N.W.A legend.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI thought that \u2018Racks in the Middle\u2019 beat was like Dr. Dre level,\u201d Dom Kennedy said. \u201cI remember telling him that.
