Netflix has launched an online shop that sells branded merchandise from hit shows like \u201cBridgerton,\u201d \u201cStranger Things\u201d and \u201cLupin.\u201d <\/p>\n

On Thursday, the streaming giant unveiled its online store Netflix.shop<\/a>, which includes collections designed by Nathalie Nguyen, Kristopher Kites and Jordan Bentley that are inspired by the anime<\/a> series<\/a>\u00a0\u201cYasuke\u201d\u00a0and \u201cEden.\u201d<\/p>\n

So far there are caps, hoodies and T-shirts and futuristic looking anime-inspired figurines and alarm clocks. Eventually there will be other knick knacks like charms and home d\u00e9cor. Prices range from $30 to $135.<\/p>\n

Later this month, Netflix will roll out merchandise inspired by \u201cLupin,\u201d a popular French series based on master thief Ars\u00e8ne\u00a0Lupin, which will include products like throw pillows and side tables, as well as app<\/a>arel. <\/p>\n

The shop is currently available in the US only, but Netflix vice president of consumer products Josh Simon said via a press release<\/a> that an international rollout is in the works in the \u201ccoming months.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re always looking at how we can extend the world of our stories for fans, from apparel and toys to immersive events and game<\/a>s,\u201d Simon said. \u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to give fans a new way to connect with their favorite stories, and to introduce them to the next wave of artists and designers who embrace the power of storytelling in all its forms.\u201d <\/p>\n

The store gives Netflix, which derives its revenue through subscriptions not advertising, another way to bring in money. The move also takes a page out of Disney\u2019s playbook, which includes an expansive retail footprint through its Disney Store chain.<\/p>\n

Thursday\u2019s retail launch isn\u2019t the first time Netflix has ventured into branded merchandise. Netflix partnered with clothing company Phenomenal<\/a> to sell sweatshirts and long-sleeve tees inspired by Shonda Rhimes\u2019 \u201cBridgerton.\u201d That collection, which includes popular quotes from the show like \u201cI burn for you\u201d and \u201cI wish to be entertained,\u201d retails for around $60.\n <\/div>\n
