Ash Lynx and Eiji Okumura have stepped into reality thanks to a two-part\u00a0BANANA FISH<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0stage production. Part 1 opened in Japan yesterday, and photos are now out showing the cast in costume and in action.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The original manga<\/a> by\u00a0Akimi Yoshida<\/strong>, which ran from 1985-1994, follows gang leader Ash Lynx and photographer’s assistant Eiji Okumura as they uncover the meaning behind a man’s dying words. The series<\/a> was adapted into a 24-episode anime by MAPP<\/a>A in 2018.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

The first of\u00a0two stage plays<\/strong><\/span><\/a>\u00a0adapting the manga premiered yesterday,\u00a0June 10<\/strong>. New photos from the production show us\u00a0Kenta Mizue<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Kurumu Okamiya<\/strong>\u00a0in action as Ash and Eiji, respectively \u2014 as well as the rest of the cast and the gritty sets:<\/p>\n
