This will im<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>tely make some <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>rehensive, while also making others wonder: just how much digital de-aging is going on in the movie? And why? Ford is older now, of course, but he looks great for his age, and he already looked like an older Indy in\u00a0<em>Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull<\/em>. Last weekend, filming on\u00a0<em>Indiana Jones 5<\/em> commenced on North Yorkshire Moors, and set pics showed a stuntman riding a motorcycle \u2013 and wearing a Harrison Ford mask. And not a Harrison Ford mask reflecting Ford as he looks now, but a younger version of Ford. There were also extras dressed as Nazis, and a \u201cNazi carrier engine and vintage cars\u201d spotted.<\/p>\n<p>This immediately made people (including us) speculate that\u00a0<em>Indiana Jones 5<\/em> would have some sort of flashback to World War II, and that it would very likely have a digitally de-aged Harrison Ford. While we still don\u2019t have all the details, and it\u2019s too soon to make snap judgements, the newest pic definitely confirms that there\u2019s going to be a digitally de-aged Indy somewhere in the film. Ford can be seen in-character, sporting motion capture markers on his clothes and face. Again: these images are completely out of context, and it\u2019s way too early to assume we know what\u2019s up with\u00a0<em>Indiana Jones 5<\/em>. But the scene with the younger Indy on a motorcycle was being shot at night, while this latest pic shows a scene being shot during the day. That strongly implies we\u2019re getting multiple scenes with de-aged Indy. Which means we\u2019re getting multiple flashbacks. So what could be going on here?<\/p>\n<p>Is director <strong>James Mangold<\/strong> making a kind of\u00a0<em>Godfather Part II<\/em> film that jumps back and forth between past and present throughout the entire story? Or is this just all part of one very lengthy flashback scene? I don\u2019t know, folks. I just don\u2019t know. But I\u2019m getting a little nervous. I\u2019m not against digital de-aging, and I think it worked pretty damn well in Martin Scorsese\u2019s\u00a0<em>The Irishman<\/em>, something that\u2019s highlighted in this video:<br \/>\n<!-- SlashFilm_300x250_In_Post_2 --><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"How The Irishman\u2019s Groundbreaking VFX Took Anti-Aging To the Next Level | Netflix\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/OF-lElIlZM0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>But the digital de-aging in <em>The Irishman\u00a0<\/em>made sense since it was a story spanning several decades. Without knowing what\u00a0<em>Indiana Jones 5<\/em> is about yet, I can only wonder what\u2019s going on.\u00a0Anyway, in addition to the motion capture reveal, that new set image\u00a0<em>also<\/em> reveals that delightful character actor\u00a0<strong>Toby Jones<\/strong> is in the film, something we hadn\u2019t heard before. Good for you, Toby Jones!<\/p>\n<p>In addition to Harrison Ford (and Toby Jones),\u00a0<em>Indiana Jones 5<\/em> also stars\u00a0<strong>Phoebe Waller-Bridge<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Mads Mikkelsen<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Thomas Kretschmann<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Boyd Holbrook<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Shaunette Ren\u00e9e Wilson<\/strong>. James Mangold directs, making this the first\u00a0<em>Indiana Jones 5<\/em> movie to not be helmed by Steven Spielberg.
