It\u2019s a big day for Starstruck<\/em>. The comedy TV show launched on HBO Max today and the series has now been renewed for a second season.
\nCreated and written by Rose Matafeo, along with co-writers Alice Sneddon and Nic Sampson, the Starstruck<\/em> series revolves around Jessie (Matafeo), a millennial living in East London who juggles her dead-end jobs while navigating the complications of becoming romantically involved with a film star (Nikesh Patel).<\/p>\n

Season One Of The Max Original Available For Streaming Now<\/p>\n

<\/span>As season one debuts today, HBO Max has renewed the Max Original series, STARSTRUCK, from comedia<\/a>n Rose Matafeo (\u201cBaby Done,\u201d \u201cHorndog\u201d) and co-writers Alice Snedden and Nic Sampson, for a second season. Hailed as a \u201ccharmer\u201d by The New York Times and \u201ca cotton-candy confection . . . marked by sweetness and levity that once you\u2019ve finished, you\u2019ll be devastated there isn\u2019t more,\u201d by Pajiba, STARSTRUCK follows Jessie (Matafeo), a millennial living in East London juggling two dead end jobs and navigating the complications of becoming romantically involved with famous film star \u201cTom\u201d (Nikesh Patel), and follows the couple as they realize they can\u2019t keep away from each other. The season two ensemble cast also includes Minnie Driver (\u201cGood Will Hunting\u201d) and Russell Tovey (\u201cYears and Years\u201d). Season one debuts today on HBO Max.<\/p>\n
