\nKanye West has made some bold proclamations in the past, most memorably when he compared himself to Jesus Christ on Yeezus<\/em> in 2013. According to AllHipHop,\u00a0<\/em><\/a>the eccentric entrepreneur\/rapp<\/a>er took it a step further and threw on a Jesus mask during a recent virtual deposition.<\/p>\n

Black-owned company MyChannel claims Kanye stole the company\u2019s technology<\/a> to sell his Sunday Service merchandise and has been trying to get him into court for an in-person deposition but because of COVID-19, he was allowed to appear by video.<\/p>\n

But last week, MyChannel\u2019s attorneys were forced to file an emergency motion to drag Kanye West into court after he went \u201cH-A-M\u201d on lawyer Michael Popok. Court documents state\u00a0Kanye called Popok \u201cboy\u201d at least a dozen times during the 10-minute deposition.<\/p>\n

During that time, Ye refused to look at Popok, wouldn\u2019t put his cell phone down and referenced his \u201cmental genius-ness\u201d while asking the lawyer if he was \u201cfucking stupid\u201d while declining to answer any questions. He quickly ended the meeting and stormed off.<\/p>\n

But before he left, Kanye \u2014 whose currently in the middle of a divorce from Kim Kardashian \u2014 allegedly told Popok he was lucky to be deposing the \u201crichest Black man in America and a Black Trump supporter and that he couldn\u2019t be bothered with the deposition because he had lives (and diets) to change.\u201d<\/p>\n

For the grand finale, Kanye then put on a\u00a0full-face hood and head covering adorned with Jesus Christ\u2019s image which obscured his face and muffled his voice\u201d and insisted they didn\u2019t deserve to see his face.<\/p>\n

MyChannel attorney Ben J. Meiselas noted the deposition had been recorded and said, \u201c[Kanye] West\u2019s bad faith efforts to sabotage the deposition will be viewed by the Court as one of the most outrageous and inappropriate deposition performances it has observed as well.\u201d<\/p>\n

MyChannel is seeking $63,000 in damages.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
