Thankfully, it looks like the game creators at Squre Enix are going to redeem themselves this year with a new <strong><em>Guardians of the Galaxy<\/em><\/strong> video game. It may not be inspired by the versions of the characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but if you watch the <em>Guardians of the Galaxy<\/em> video game trailer below, you\u2019ll see it has much of the same attitude and style, including a rockin\u2019 soundtrack. <span id=\"more-676312\"><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Guardians_of_the_Galaxy_Video_Game_Trailer\"><\/span>Guardians of the Galaxy Video Game Trailer<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Marvel\u2019s Guardians of the Galaxy | Official Reveal Trailer\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/f-jFYYMkJh4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Marvel Games, Square Enix and Eidos-Montreal announced the new <em>Guardians of the Galaxy<\/em> video game at E3. Arriving this fall, the game will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Series<\/a> X\/S, Xbox One and PC.<\/p>\n<div class=\"paragraph \">\n<!-- SlashFilm_300x250_In_Post -->The third-person action adventure game let\u2019s players take control of Peter Quill, aka Star-Lord, as he leads Gamora, Drax, Rocket, and Groot in a story that takes place years after a massive galactic war. <strong>Marry DeMarle<\/strong>, the executive narrative director at Eidos-Montreal explained (via Entertainment Weekly) more about what the Guardians of the Galaxy are doing in this game:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThey\u2019re hoping to make a quick buck as they adventure and rediscover the joy of life in this new universe. During one of their escapades, because of a silly bet between two of them, they may or may not cause a very small accident to happen that eventually takes on a life of its own and gets bigger and bigger and sets off a chain of cataclysmic events that will threaten the universe if the Guardians don\u2019t take responsibility and stand up to it.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"paragraph \">\nSince <em>Guardians of the Galaxy<\/em> focuses on a team of space criminals who end up being tasked with saving the world, it should come as no surprise that they find themselves coming face-to-face with \u201ca mysterious order that is out to annihilate anyone who refuses to bow to their convictions.\u201d\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"paragraph \">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Square Enix Presents: A World Premiere Announcement\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/HW4SMg34EZE?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Guardians_of_the_Galaxy_Gameplay\"><\/span>Guardians of the Galaxy Gameplay<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Along with the <em>Guardians of the Galaxy<\/em> trailer reveal, there was a non-playable demo (above) showing off gameplay from the game. The footage featured the Guardians of the Galaxy hatching a plan to sell either Rocket or Groot to a monster collector named Lady Hellbender, a character based on Marguerite Hellbender in Marvel Comics. They\u2019re hope is to get cash and then bust their incarcerate friend out of Hellbender\u2019s fortress. But of course, the plan doesn\u2019t go right, and the Guardians of the Galaxy have to tangle with a massive creature known as Dweller, amongst other deadly space creatures.\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"paragraph \">\n<!-- SlashFilm_300x250_In_Post_2 -->Through a mix of cinematics and gameplay footage, you can see how this already looks superior to <em>The Avengers<\/em> video game. As players fight enemies, they\u2019ll fill what\u2019s called a momentum meter. You fill it up by fighting effectively and using the entire team to your advantage. At any point, you can call a huddle with the team to motivate them with a little pep talk. If you put the right motivational speech together, you\u2019ll get a full team boost that comes with Star-Lord hitting play on his Walkman, sparking a music-fueled battle with various 1980s tracks.<\/p>\n<div class=\"paragraph \">\nIn the <em>Guardians of the Galaxy<\/em> demo footage, the charged up attack played out to \u201cBad Reputation\u201d by Joan Jett &amp; The Blackhearts. But that won\u2019t be the case with <em>Guardians of the Galaxy<\/em>.<br \/>\n<!-- SlashFilm_300x250_In_Post_3 -->Marry DeMarle told <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/ew.com\/gaming\/marvels-guardians-of-the-galaxy-video-game\/\">Entertainment Weekly<\/a>, \u201cIt\u2019s very important that on Day 1, when players get this game, they can have access to everything there is. So, right off the bat, they can get all of the costumes that are available, they can find all the abilities as they progress through the game.
