most expensive new cars ever sold. The company has built just one example of the 1,479-horsepower 2-seater, which sold to an unidentified buyer for $19 million.<\/p>\n<p> Nineteen million dollars, we\u2019d like to point out, is enough money to buy yourself a brand new\u00a0Chevy Spark. And a new Chevy Spark for each of your 1,396 closest friends. It\u2019s built into a one-off body designed as a tribute to the 1936 Bugatti Type 57 SC Atlantic, which was the fastest road-legal car of its own time.<\/p>\n<p>The Black Car, though, is clearly a performance car. Say that\u2019s what matters to you. If it\u2019s lively handling you want, you could satisfy yourself with 708\u00a0Mazda<br \/>\n        MZDAY,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/206326885\/delayed\" class=\"negative\">-2.38%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       MX-5s. If you\u2019re really in this for straight-line speed, you could almost scratch 200 mph in each of your 316\u00a0Chevrolet Corvette Stingrays. target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">technology<\/a> and dark magic), sending power to all four wheels through a 7-speed automatic transmission.<\/p>\n<p>Or, for $19 million, you could get 158 of the That car gets from 0 to 60 mph in 2.3 seconds and claims a top speed of 261 mph. The Black Car likely manages similar numbers, or some anonymous buyer has every right to be very upset.
