after the S&amp;P 500<br \/>\n        SPX,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/210599714\/realtime\" class=\"negative\">-0.26%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       notched its 28th record high of the year on Friday.<\/p>\n<p> Investors will be closely watching the Federal Reserve\u2019s latest monetary policy decision on Wednesday as well as what Chair Jerome Powell has to say.<\/p>\n<div class=\"paywall\">\n       President Joe Biden\u2019s infrastructure plans are also in focus, after talks with Senate Republicans over a $1.7 trillion deal collapsed last week. Bipartisan efforts over a compromise are continuing, while a Democratic-only Reconciliation Bill is also seen as an option. Biden has set a summer deadline for Congress to pass his top legislative priority.<\/p>\n<p>In our <strong>call of the day<\/strong>, Citi strategists looked at the prospects for Biden\u2019s infrastructure plans and the stocks that are likely to benefit.<\/p>\n<p>The strategists, led by Edward Morse, said it now looked likely that passable legislation would be below the $1.7 trillion of infrastructure but higher than $1 trillion. The team looked at which areas would still make the cut in terms of spending.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEnhanced policy support for carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS) likely survives and would have bipartisan support if a reconciliation process fails,\u201d they said.<\/p>\n<p>CCUS involves capturing carbon dioxide from large sources, such as power plants, and storing it to be recycled. It can play an \u201cimportant and diverse\u201d role in meeting global energy and climate goals, according to the International Energy Agency.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe bill could jump-start an industry that could grow to be larger than today\u2019s domestic oil-and-gas industry,\u201d Citi strategists said. That would change the terminal value debate over companies such as Exxon Mobil<br \/>\n        XOM,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/204455864\/composite\" class=\"positive\">+0.27%<\/bg-quote><span>,<\/span><br \/>\n       which has more than 30 years of experience in CCUS, and other established names in the space, including Baker Hughes<br \/>\n        BKR,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/205323712\/composite\" class=\"negative\">-4.17%<\/bg-quote><span>,<\/span><br \/>\n       Schlumberger<br \/>\n        SLB,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/201012972\/composite\" class=\"negative\">-1.29%<\/bg-quote><span>,<\/span><br \/>\n       Chart Industries<br \/>\n        GTLS,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/202535084\/composite\" class=\"positive\">+0.29%<\/bg-quote><span>,<\/span><br \/>\n       Valero Energy<br \/>\n        VLO,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/200735463\/composite\" class=\"positive\">+0.79%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       and Kinder Morgan<br \/>\n        KMI,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/208455654\/composite\" class=\"negative\">-0.39%<\/bg-quote><span>,<\/span><br \/>\n       they added.<\/p>\n<p>Renewables adoption is also poised to accelerate, they said, with the demand for clean energy boosted by Biden\u2019s agenda on climate change. It could potentially lead to significant investments in existing renewable facilities and building new solar and wind farms.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe think this bodes well for specialty contractors, such as MasTec<br \/>\n        MTZ,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/207965492\/composite\" class=\"negative\">-2.11%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       and engineering and construction-focused Fluor<br \/>\n        FLR,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/203795934\/composite\" class=\"negative\">-2.74%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       given their expertise in clean energy infrastructure and management, as well as for <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/general\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"3\" title=\"General\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">General<\/a> Electric<br \/>\n        GE,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/208495069\/composite\" class=\"negative\">-1.50%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       given its wind turbine portfolio and related digital offerings,\u201d they said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<div id=\"cx-membership-tile\"><\/div>\n<p>Two other long-term <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">theme<\/a>s to watch out for are electric-vehicle infrastructure and green hydrogen, which is produced when renewable energy powers the electrolysis of water \u2014 breaking it into its component elements of hydrogen and oxygen.<\/p>\n<p>MasTec, Rockwell Automation<br \/>\n        ROK,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/206335564\/composite\" class=\"negative\">-1.26%<\/bg-quote><span>,<\/span><br \/>\n       3M<br \/>\n        MMM,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/205029460\/composite\" class=\"negative\">-0.71%<\/bg-quote><span>,<\/span><br \/>\n       Vontier<br \/>\n        VNT,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/221146566\/composite\" class=\"negative\">-1.55%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       and Dover Corp<br \/>\n        DOV,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/208444467\/composite\" class=\"negative\">-1.01%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       are all set to benefit from EV proliferation, while General Electric, Emerson Electric<br \/>\n        EMR,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/200181610\/composite\" class=\"negative\">-0.37%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       and KBR<br \/>\n        KBR,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/204737382\/composite\" class=\"negative\">-0.75%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       can capitalize on the emergence of green hydrogen, they added.<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_markets\"><\/span>The markets<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>European stocks climbed to fresh record highs on Monday as inflation fears continued to ease.
