Some characters have the ability to jump in and out of those universes, and before we\u00a0see Doctor Strange grapple with the Multiverse of Madness next year,\u00a0<em><strong>Spider-Man: No Way Home<\/strong><\/em> is primed to take audiences into that chaos by re-introducing familiar heroes and villains from previous iterations of Spider-Man movies into the MCU.<\/p>\n<p>In a now-deleted tweet, the Sony Pictures Argentina account revealed a brief video of a new version of the <em>Spider-Man: No Way Home<\/em> logo, which ends with the logo glitching in a manner that is extraordinarily reminiscent of the glitches that happened in the 2018 animated classic <strong><em>Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse<\/em><\/strong>.<br \/><span id=\"more-676437\"><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"New_Spider-Man_No_Way_Home_Logo\"><\/span>New Spider-Man: No Way Home Logo<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\" xml:lang=\"en\">Sony Pictures Argentina tweeted (then deleted) a new glitching logo animation for <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/SpiderManNoWayHome?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#SpiderManNoWayHome<\/a>, now with an all red version of the logo! <\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ve guessed this could be a nod to similar effects in INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE, as well as WandaVision.<br \/>\n<!-- SlashFilm_300x250_In_Post --> <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/vKF08fRlXb\">pic.twitter.com\/vKF08fRlXb<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Spider-Man: No Way Home <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">News<\/a> (@spideysnews) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/spideysnews\/status\/1404471774394290177?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 14, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Could_We_See_a_Spider-Man_No_Way_Home_and_Into_the_Spider-Verse_Crossover\"><\/span>Could We See a Spider-Man: No Way Home and Into the Spider-Verse Crossover?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>We\u2019ve known for months that <em>Spider-Man: No Way Home<\/em> will feature characters from films that Marvel Studios did not produce: Alfred Molina is reprising his role as Doc Ock from Sam Raimi\u2019s <em>Spider-Man 2<\/em>, for example, and Jamie Foxx is returning as Electro from 2014\u2019s <em>The Amazing Spider-Man 2<\/em>. But so far, we have not heard any news that characters from <em>Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse<\/em>, Sony\u2019s first feature-length animated movie centering on Spider-Man, would be appearing in <em>No Way Home<\/em>. But this glitchy logo \u2013 which is very similar to the glitchy, comic book-inspired visual aesthetic that helped\u00a0<em>Spider-Verse<\/em> stand out from its contemporaries \u2013 makes me wonder if a crossover might be imminent after all.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve always assumed <em>Into the Spider-Verse<\/em> would simply be a precursor to Marvel\u2019s live-action exploration of the multiverse. But just because that was an animated movie does not mean that live-action characters from <em>No Way Home<\/em> might slip into its animated universe \u2013 or vice-versa. We\u2019ve seen animated sequences in Marvel projects before (very recently, in fact, in last week\u2019s episode of <em>Loki<\/em>), but nothing as complicated as having characters who are supposed to be animated sharing the same space with live-action characters. But there\u2019s a first time for everything.<br \/>\n<!-- SlashFilm_300x250_In_Post_2 -->Plus, as this @spideysnews account mentions, there was plenty of glitching in <em>WandaVision<\/em> as well, and that Disney+ series set up Wanda Maximoff as a nexus being who is going to be a key factor in <em>Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness<\/em>. Of course, the primary setting of <em>WandaVision<\/em> was \u201cthe Hex,\u201d a domed force field Wanda constructed around the town of Westview, New Jersey.
