To go along with that, Peacock has also decided to not pick it up. The second headline is a little more shocking than the first, since it felt almost like the streaming service was a guaranteed failsafe.<\/p>\n<p>In a new interview with <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.vanityfair.com\/hollywood\/2021\/06\/jane-levy-zoeys-extraordinary-playlist-canceled?utm_social-type=owned&amp;mbid=social_twitter&amp;utm_source=twitter&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_brand=vf\">Vanity Fair<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> star Jane Levy makes it clear that she and the cast felt the same way \u2014 they anticipated the NBC cancellation, but the news that Peacock was nicking picking the show up came as a shock. It may have a smaller audience but it\u2019s critically-acclaimed; not only that, but Levy has been one of the few network TV stars to get awards-show attention as of late. In the end, though, none of this was viewed as significant enough, and now studio Lionsgate TV is looking to find another home elsewhere.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s where things get even more candid \u2014 check out what Levy had to say about NBC in <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/general\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"3\" title=\"General\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">general<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">\u201cI\u2019m sorry, but I have to say this: I look at the new NBC lineup, and it\u2019s like, \u2018Okay, we could watch a lot of shows about crime and guns.\u2019 Our show is about love. It\u2019s a real shame to take that off the air\u2026I feel like it\u2019s the wrong move.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On the surface, Levy\u2019s not wrong \u2014 there are three\u00a0<em>Law &amp; Order\u00a0<\/em>shows now on Thursday nights, and that\u2019s alongside\u00a0<em>Chicago PD\u00a0<\/em>on Wednesdays and\u00a0<em>The Blacklist\u00a0<\/em>on Fridays. You could even extrapolate further since\u00a0<em>Chicago Fire\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0<em>Chicago Med\u00a0<\/em>are often connected to\u00a0<em>PD.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>We think that Levy very-well knows why those shows are sticking around NBC while hers is not: Viewership. For whatever reason, cop shows are mainstream and perform well in the ratings. That doesn\u2019t change the aggravation that the network isn\u2019t taking more risks \u2014 it was only a few years ago that they took a little chance on <em>This Is Us<\/em>. As viewers, we often say that we want things that make us smile and feel good \u2014 yet, we routinely see shows like <em>Zoey\u2019s Extraordinary Playlist\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0<em>God Friended Me\u00a0<\/em>canceled because of low viewership. So, do we want these shows or not?
