Smells like someone made a profit off the late rock star\u2019s self-portrait.<\/p>\n

Scribbled in black felt pen on Singapore\u2019s TNT Music Centre stationery, Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain crafted a self-portrait drawing during the band\u2019s 1992 Nevermind tour.<\/p>\n

The doodle, labeled as \u201cKurdt Kobain Rock Star,\u201d also reads: \u201cI don\u2019t know how to play and I don\u2019t give a hoot!\u201d<\/p>\n

The drawing was auctioned for a cool $281,250 by Julien\u2019s Auctions, according to the Observer<\/a>, along with other items that once belonged to Cobain.<\/p>\n

The musician\u2019s personal belongings are scarce, so when they do app<\/a>ear at auctions, they sell for a pretty penny. In 2019, Cobain\u2019s sweater from his final photoshoot with Nirvana sold for $75,000 and his \u201cMTV Unplugged\u201d guitar went for $6 million<\/a>. Last month, Cobain and Courtney Love\u2019s house went up for sale in Los Angeles for nearly $1 million.<\/p>\n

This year marked the 27th anniversary<\/a> of Cobain\u2019s death, when he took his own life at 27. <\/p>\n
