You probably have a sense of the biggest TV shows streaming right now, but what about the fastest-rising? For that data, we turn again to Parrot Analytics, which ranked the streaming titles with the biggest month-over-month gains in demand between April and May.<\/p>\n

The company notes that the show topping the chart, The Mosquito Coast<\/em>, steadily grew in demand each week, so it\u2019s little wonder why App<\/a>le+ recently renewed the thriller for a second season.<\/p>\n

Star Wars: The Bad Batch<\/em>, meanwhile, likely got its stellar demand from its timing, since the debut season of the animated series<\/a> hit Disney+ on Star Wars Day. (That\u2019s May 4th, as in May the 4th be with you.)<\/p>\n

One outlier among all the new series is StartUp<\/em>, which ended its three-season run on Crackle in 2018. So what explains StartUp<\/em>\u2019s demand in May, more than two years after its end? You can thank Netflix, where the show started streaming on May 4.<\/p>\n
