“#The Killers and Bruce Springsteen Share New Song \u201cDustland\u201d: Listen<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

The Killers and Bruce Springsteen have joined for a new song, \u201cDustland<\/a>.\u201d It\u2019s a new duet rendition of the band\u2019s 2008 single \u201cA Dustland Fairytale,\u201d from the album Day & Age<\/em>. The song arrives with an explanation from Brandon Flowers about how the song came about, quoting a text message he received from Springsteen. Check out the song and Flowers\u2019 note below.<\/p>\n

Flowers has been a Springsteen fan for some time; the band\u2019s second album Sam\u2019s Town<\/em> was notably influenced by records like Born to Run<\/em>. The two musicians down in conversation last year for the latter\u2019s Letter to You Radio<\/em> podcast series<\/a>, during which they discussed their influences and songwriting.<\/p>\n

The Killers\u2019 most recent LP Imploding the Mirage<\/em> was released last year. The band began teasing the follow-up<\/a>, and a reunion with original guitarist Dave Keuning, this past January.<\/p>\n
