Our Loki Variant (<strong>Tom Hiddleston<\/strong>) has a pretty good idea of who this fugitive is when he comes face-to-face with them, but are they really exactly who they <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ear to be?<\/p>\n<p>According to the credits for the international versions of the most recent\u00a0<em>Loki<\/em> episode, maybe not.<br \/>\n<!-- SlashFilm_300x250_In_Post --><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-676604\" src=\"https:\/\/d13ezvd6yrslxm.cloudfront.net\/wp\/wp-content\/images\/Loki-Episode-2-700x300.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/d13ezvd6yrslxm.cloudfront.net\/wp\/wp-content\/images\/Loki-Episode-2.jpeg 700w, https:\/\/d13ezvd6yrslxm.cloudfront.net\/wp\/wp-content\/images\/Loki-Episode-2-360x154.jpeg 360w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_Do_the_Credits_Say\"><\/span>What Do the Credits Say?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The second episode of\u00a0<em>Loki<\/em> built up to the god of mischief coming face-to-face with the fugitive Variant of himself, who he assumed would look just like him. Wrong. The fugitive Variant turned out to be a woman, and blonde at that. Played by\u00a0<strong>Sophia DiMartino<\/strong>, the Variant had been named as a Loki Variant by Agent Mobius (<strong>Owen Wilson<\/strong>), leading us to assume that this was\u00a0Lady Loki, a female version of the God of Mischief who had a long history in Marvel Comics, and whose debut we\u2019d come to expect with the revelation that Loki was gender fluid.\u00a0But a discrepancy in the credits for DiMartino\u2019s character suggests that this might not be the case.<\/p>\n<p>Per an\u00a0eagle-eyed\u00a0<em>Loki<\/em> fan on <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ashelynx22\/status\/1405075042438991873\">Twitter,<\/a>\u00a0DiMartino is credited differently in the English-language version and the international versions of the second\u00a0episode of the Marvel Disney+ show. With her new powers, Sylvie takes on the mantle of Enchantress (a superhero identity that had been previously held by a character named Amora) and moves to New York City to join the Avengers. But unbeknownst to Sylvie, her powers had actually been given to her by Loki,\u00a0who \u201cliked the idea of creating a mortal who suspects she\u2019s one of my kind.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>With Martino\u2019s Variant having the same blonde hair as Sylvie (Lady Loki is typically depicted with the same dark hair as male Loki) and the comic\u00a0book character\u2019s ties to Loki, the similarities are too strong to be a total coincidence.\u00a0It\u2019s possible that this Variant is in fact Enchantress, on a vendetta against Loki and the Sacred Timeline after another version of him had meddled in her life.\u00a0The casting of\u00a0<em>The Walking Dead<\/em>\u2018s\u00a0<strong>Cailey Fleming<\/strong> as \u201c<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickeringmyth.com\/2020\/03\/the-walking-deads-cailey-fleming-joins-marvels-loki-as-enchantress\/\">Young Sylvie<\/a>\u201d also lends to this theory. Or even possessing Sylvie, as we\u2019ve seen Loki do with other female versions of Loki in the comics.<\/p>\n<p>We still don\u2019t know the identity of the character\u00a0<strong>Richard E. Grant<\/strong> will be playing, but it\u2019s been widely speculated that he would be playing an older version of Loki. Could the show be leading up to the reveal that Old Man Loki is behind the whole mystery, ending in a face-off where our Loki Variant must battle his older, more villainous self?
