\nJada Pinkett Smith<\/strong> is celebrating the late Tupac Shakur<\/strong>\u2019s birthday with a soul-stirring poem, and Twitter<\/strong> really hopes Will Smith<\/strong> hasn\u2019t been online to read it!<\/p>\n

On Tuesday night, the Girls Trip<\/a><\/em> star took to Instagram<\/strong> to post a video ahead of the rapp<\/a>er\u2019s Wednesday birthday, showing fans a never-before-seen poem titled Lost Soulz<\/em> that the rap icon penned.<\/p>\n

JPS explained she \u201cwent down memory lane\u201d and looked back on the \u201cmany letters and many poems\u201d Shakur sent to her, telling fans in the clip:<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think this one has ever been published\u2026 I don\u2019t think he would have minded that I shared this with you guys.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

While Pac might not have minded the mushy post, Jada\u2019s husband may have \u2014 at least according to Twitter<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Users took to the platform to express frustration and sadness on behalf of Will, who many feel is still in competition with Jada\u2019s late close friend. Twitics wrote:<\/p>\n

\u201cWill Smith has been the best in everything else except in Jada\u2019s heart\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWill Smith is a multimillionaire still losing the affection of his wife to a man who died 25 years ago\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s tupac\u2019s 50th birthday and jada pinketh posted ANOTHER poem he wrote her lmaoo ayo, pray for will smith, focus on yourselves kings\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI could not be will smith\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWill smith has to be depressed every year on 2pacs birthday\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cwill smith is a libra and jada is a virgo. she runs that whole relationship wtf did y\u2019all expect\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

It\u2019s unclear if Will is bothered by Jada celebrating Tupac\u2019s life, but the I Am Legend<\/em> star did admit he used to be \u201cdeeply, deeply insecure\u201d about their history.<\/p>\n

For those who don\u2019t know, Pinkett Smith and the hip-hop legend had, as Jada put it on a 2019 episode of Red Table Talk<\/em>, a \u201ccomplex relationship.\u201d The pair met on the first day of high school in Baltimore and grew close until Jada walked away from their friendship because she felt Tupac\u2019s life was becoming too dangerous. The former friends were estranged at the time of his death.<\/p>\n

In her birthday post, the 49-year-old actress said she believed the poem was the original concept for Pac\u2019s song Lost Souls<\/em>, which was featured on the soundtrack for the 1997 crime flick Gang Related<\/em>. She then theorized that the rapper \u2014 who was killed in a drive-by shooting in 1997 when he was just 25 years old \u2014 possibly wrote the poem while imprisoned on Rikers Island in New York after he was charged in a sexual assault case in the \u201990s.<\/p>\n
