This time, their secret mission finds them being sent to the the fictional Latin American country of Corto Maltese, where alien materials are being weaponized to use against the United States and the rest of the world. They\u2019re tasked with destroying a fortress known as Jotunheim.<br \/>\n<!-- SlashFilm_300x250_In_Post -->So when James Gunn describes this movie as a war caper (via <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/ew.com\/movies\/the-suicide-squad-preview-james-gunn\/\">Entertainment Weekly<\/a>), we\u2019re talking <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">movies<\/a> like <em>The Guns of Navarone<\/em> and <em>Kelly\u2019s Heroes<\/em>. But instead of soldiers, we\u2019ve got a messy team of super villains, many of them lower tier bad guys from the pages of DC Comics. That certainly feels like a departure from the first\u00a0<em>Suicide Squad<\/em>, which tried to make each character seem more cool in their own way. It sounds like this movie won\u2019t be shy about depicting some of these characters as flat-out terrible.<\/p>\n<p>The likes of Polka-Dot Man (<strong>David Dastmalchian<\/strong>), Weasel (<strong>Sean Gunn<\/strong>), and Ratcatcher 2 (<strong>Daniela Melchior<\/strong>) will be along for the ride, but Gunn has cautioned fans to not get too attached to any of these characters, because they\u2019re all potentially on the chopping block and most of them won\u2019t survive.<\/p>\n<p>However, there are some more prominent faces who might survive for a sequel.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-677282 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/d13ezvd6yrslxm.cloudfront.net\/wp\/wp-content\/images\/thesuicidesquad-team-jungle-700x369.jpg\" alt=\"The Suicide Squad\" width=\"700\" height=\"369\" srcset=\"https:\/\/d13ezvd6yrslxm.cloudfront.net\/wp\/wp-content\/images\/thesuicidesquad-team-jungle-700x369.jpg 700w, https:\/\/d13ezvd6yrslxm.cloudfront.net\/wp\/wp-content\/images\/thesuicidesquad-team-jungle-360x190.jpg 360w, https:\/\/d13ezvd6yrslxm.cloudfront.net\/wp\/wp-content\/images\/thesuicidesquad-team-jungle-768x405.jpg 768w, https:\/\/d13ezvd6yrslxm.cloudfront.net\/wp\/wp-content\/images\/thesuicidesquad-team-jungle.jpg 1000w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Meet_Bloodsport_and_Peacemaker\"><\/span>Meet Bloodsport and Peacemaker<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Idris Elba<\/strong> is playing Bloodsport and<strong> John Cena<\/strong> is playing Peacemaker, both new members of Task Force X. Since these are two of the biggest stars in the movie, there\u2019s a good chance they could survive for another round. After all, John Cena is starring in a <strong><em>Peacemaker<\/em><\/strong> series on HBO Max after the movie comes out, but it hasn\u2019t been confirmed whether it\u2019s set before or after the events of <em>The Suicide Squad<\/em>.<br \/>\n<!-- SlashFilm_300x250_In_Post_2 -->Elba\u2019s character may not be too upset if he bites the big one. The actor described his character to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/ew.com\/movies\/the-suicide-squad-preview-james-gunn\/\">EW<\/a>: \u201cHe\u2019s a bit grumpy. He\u2019s not the warmest guy. Yeah, just playing myself, really.\u201d But we\u2019re not going to let someone like Elba join Task Force X and dispatch with him after one movie, right?<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Cena\u2019s Peacemaker is a far more ridiculous character. Cena said, \u201cHe has this moral code that seems skewed by the amount of violence he inflicts.
