We were able to catch the new action RPG and tell you here what our first impression is.<\/strong><span id=\"more-56231\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>On September 10, 2021 will appear with \u00ab<strong>Tales of Arise<\/strong>\u00bbThe next offshoot of\u00ab<strong>Tales of<\/strong>\u00bbAction RPG series.  At the Bandai Namco preview event, I was able to talk to \u00ab<strong>Tales of Arise<\/strong>&#8221; employ.  Above all, this gave me a good insight into the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a>&#8217;s combat system.<\/p>\n<div class=\"inner\"><\/div>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_agony_of_choice\"><\/span>The agony of choice?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>In the game, the player has a total of six characters to choose from.  At the beginning you have to choose a character, which doesn&#8217;t seem to be very important.  Because in-game you can change the playable character via the menu both outside of the fights and within the fights.  The choices are: the swordsman Alphen, the ranged fighter Shionne, the magician Rinwell, the pugilist Law, the shield fighter Kisara and Dohalim, who is a kind of universal fighter and can do a little bit of everything.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_56232\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-56232\" style=\"width: 1024px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-56232 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.manime.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/TOA-Charakterauswahl-1024x576.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-56232\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">For each character there is also a video in the selection screen that gives a foretaste of what the respective character can do.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>For the zock session, I chose the ranged fighter Shionne, who uses a cannon as a weapon.  Then, after a short loading time, I was thrown straight into a slightly more advanced point of the game.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Colorful_game_world_in_a_cell_shading_look\"><\/span>Colorful game world in a cell shading look<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>\u00ab<strong>Tales of Arise<\/strong>\u00bbHas a wonderful cell shading look.  The cell shading graphics capture the colorful world of the game well.  The world is very detailed &#8211; despite the cell-shading graphics, which usually have a lower level of detail than other graphics engines.<\/p>\n<p>The game world is divided into several areas, between which you can switch back and forth.  The individual areas are large and invite you to explore &#8211; and you should do that too.  Because not only opponents can be found everywhere in the game world, but also consumables such as plants, crystals and the like that can be consumed for character bonuses or processed into equipment.  Of course, there is also a chest hidden here and there, in which, with luck, you can find a new weapon or other piece of equipment.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_56233\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-56233\" style=\"width: 1024px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-56233 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.manime.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/TOA-Ausruestungsmenue-1024x576.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-56233\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Each character can be equipped with a weapon, a piece of armor and an accessory.  These have an impact on the character values.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Although the cell shading graphics are very nice, some textures were blurred in places in my Anzock-Session.  In addition, objects popped up here and there as you progressed in the game world.  However, the game is still under development, so in theory the developers still have enough time to solve the small problem.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Fast-paced_action-packed_battles\"><\/span>Fast-paced, action-packed battles<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Numerous opponents cavort on the game world.  As soon as you touch it, you will be thrown into a fighting area and the fight starts.  The combat system of \u00ab<strong>Tales of Arise<\/strong>\u00bbIs very action-packed.  In addition to normal attacks, so-called arts are available.  These are special attacks that can be carried out with Y, X, A (Xbox controller).  Every Arts attack tugs the Arts bar.  This fills up automatically in combat &#8211; even faster if you don&#8217;t attack at all.  There are both ground and air arts.  Which kind you want to use can be determined in the character menu.  You can also swap arts on the fly during the fight.  There is also a co-op attack that can be carried out with a full boost bar.  As soon as the boost bar has filled up, a message pops up and you can use it at the touch of a button.  This attack can destroy normal enemies directly (excluding boss enemies).  Each character also has special talents that can be used in combat.  Shionne, for example, can fire special ammunition at the push of a button, which causes a larger explosion than normal during bombing attacks.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_56234\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-56234\" style=\"width: 1024px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-56234 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.manime.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/TOA-Spezial-Angriff-1024x576.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-56234\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Characters that are not actively controlled can trigger arts attacks at the touch of a button.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In combat you can press the appropriate arrow key to attack characters that are not actively controlled with arts attacks.  In addition, you can actively switch back and forth between characters and carry out manual attacks, but you cannot control every character in battle.  Two characters always serve as support and can only help passively with their skills.  You can also change the group formation and behavior of the NPC characters in combat.  For example, they can be instructed to act more defensively or aggressively.  This allows you to be much more strategic in combat.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_56236\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-56236\" style=\"width: 1024px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-56236 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.manime.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/TOA-Spielwelt-Monster-1024x576.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-56236\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Numerous opponents cavort on the game world.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The fights are very fast, action-packed and can be tricky, and unfortunately, especially as a beginner, you can quickly lose track of things here.  There can be a lot going on on the screen &#8211; especially if you are constantly performing arts attacks, rolling around and using magic attacks that conjure up many effects on the screen.  A pause or a tactic menu in combat would be an advantage here, because not only would you have a good overview of what was happening in combat, but you could also analyze all the screen displays in peace.  Because unfortunately I often overlooked in combat that I still have few life points available so that I could not heal myself and other characters in time with magic or items.  The result, of course, was death.  Still, the fights are a lot of fun.  The fighting system of \u00ab<strong>Tales of Arise<\/strong>\u00bbIs very well thought out.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to exploring, outside of combat, you also have the opportunity to rest around campfires and heal your characters.  There are also cooking and other camping features that you can have fun with.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_56235\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-56235\" style=\"width: 1024px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-56235 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.manime.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/TOA-Kampfgeschehen-1024x576.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-56235\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">In a fight you can quickly lose track of things.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"First_impression\"><\/span>First impression<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>I&#8217;ll be honest: I haven&#8217;t had much contact with the \u00ab<strong>Tales of<\/strong>&#8220;-Play.  I was with \u00ab<strong>Tales of Arise<\/strong>\u00bbAlmost thrown into the cold water.  Still, I had a lot of fun during the game and I&#8217;m sure that many other newbies will also enjoy the game.  It is sometimes confusing in combat, but with enough break-in time it shouldn&#8217;t be a problem to find your way in the fast battles.  I find &#8220;<strong>Tales of Arise<\/strong>\u00bbIs perfect for beginners.  It offers a tutorial for almost everything and if you forget something you can access the individual tutorials at any time via the pause menu.  It introduces new players into the world very well.  I am eagerly awaiting the release on <strong>10.
