\nIs this on-again, off-again relationship back off?<\/p>\n

Shanna Moakler<\/strong>\u2019s relationship with Matthew Rondeau<\/strong> has been complicated, to say the least. While she has heaped praise on her man, her kids have publicly disavowed the romance, with daughter Alabama Barker<\/strong> claiming he\u2019s been \u201cnothing but awful\u201d to her mom and that he \u201ccheats on her.\u201d The model definitely has her own issues to work out with her teens, but it\u2019s safe to say the boyfriend wasn\u2019t helping matters.<\/p>\n

With that in mind, this may be good news<\/a>: some fans are speculating that the relationship may be over (again). Rondeau has app<\/a>arently scrubbed the 46-year-old from his Instagram<\/strong> page (all that appears to be left are solo shots and thirst traps). His last post, from Monday, showed comment responses telling Shanna he loves her, but the original comments are nowhere to be seen. They are also not following each other.<\/p>\n

For her part, pictures of Matthew remain on Travis Barker<\/strong>\u2019s ex\u2019s page, including a \u2018gram from Sunday calling him her \u201cother half.\u201d However, she also reposted some cryptic quotes on her Instagram, such as \u201cI be going thru s**t. Still smiling\u201d and \u201cThis s**t isn\u2019t forever.\u201d (In fairness, those quotes could just as easily be about her family struggles, rather than a breakup.)<\/p>\n

Neither party has commented on a split, so it remains to be seen whether it\u2019s true \u2014 and if it is true, whether it will actually stick. If Shanna has broken up with Matthew, though, it might be the first step towards reconciliation with Alabama and Landon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Back in May, the former reality star even admitted to Life & Style<\/em> that her two children with Travis \u201chave a lot of animosity\u201d toward Matthew, saying he was \u201cgetting such a bad rap when he hasn\u2019t done anything\u201d except be \u201csupportive and fun.\u201d She claimed:<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019d been really not nice to him, as well, and he hasn\u2019t done anything except be really supportive to me.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Speaking specifically of her 15-year-old daughter\u2019s accusations, she shared:<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s heartbreaking when your kids go public and make accusations that aren\u2019t true. Not just about me as a parent but also about my relationship. [Alabama] has a much bigger fan base than I do.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Shanna went on:<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat mother wants to have their child upset with them? What mother wants to hear their children say such horrible things? It\u2019s just sad, but I understand they\u2019re teenagers \u2026 They\u2019re being influenced by numerous people, who are very calculating, very manipulative, and there\u2019s nothing I can do except just be there for them [and] love them.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Of course, she couldn\u2019t help but turn it back on her ex\u2019s new lady, snarking:<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t really understand why Kourtney<\/strong> [Kardashian<\/strong>] is queen.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Well, complaining to the media<\/a> about how your kids are swayed by \u201cgetting Prada<\/strong>\u201d from Kourt may not be the best way to win back their trust. But again, breaking up with Matthew could be a move in the right direction \u2014 if indeed that is what\u2019s going on. We\u2019ll be keeping our eyes peeled for confirmation of a split.<\/p>\n
