We\u2019ll show you how to do this for various apps on your Mac.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Why_Change_Languages_for_Specific_Apps\"><\/span>Why Change Languages for Specific Apps?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>It\u2019s possible that you prefer using an app in a language that doesn\u2019t happen to be your Mac system\u2019s language. With this macOS feature, you can quickly change the language for just that app without affecting any other apps or system options on your Mac.<\/p>\n<p>An example of this is that you might want to use Safari in Spanish, but your Mac uses English as its system language. With this option, you can use Safari in Spanish while using English at all other locations on your Mac.<\/p>\n<p>You can always change the language to whatever you want.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Change_a_Specific_Apps_Language_on_Mac\"><\/span>Change a Specific App\u2019s Language on Mac<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Before you begin, close the app for which you want to change the language. In this pop-up, click the \u201cApplication\u201d drop-down menu and select the app for which you want to change the language. Next, click the \u201cLanguage\u201d drop-down menu and select the language that you want the app to use.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, click \u201cAdd\u201d at the bottom of the pop-up to save your changes.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"admonishment_note\"><p><strong>Note:<\/strong> <strong>Note: <\/strong>The \u201cLanguage\u201d drop-down menu only shows the languages that your selected app supports.
