The latest chapter in the Bryson DeChambeau-Brooks Koepka feud isn\u2019t so bitter.\u00a0<\/p>\n

While Koepka awaited the start of his interview with Golf Channel\u2019s Todd Lewis, DeChambeau walked past in the background. Seeing Koepka and Lewis together, DeChambeau jumped in the air and waved his arms around as he walked by.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople were thinking that I was doing something at the PGA Championship,\u201d DeChambeau said Thursday at the U.S. Open. \u201cI wasn\u2019t doing anything. (Today) I saw the opportunity and I just had fun with it.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

The long-standing DeChambeau-Koepka saga re-ignited at last month\u2019s PGA Championship. In a leaked viral interview, DeChambeau mocked Koepka\u2019s answer in a Golf Channel standup. <\/p>\n

The feud began back in 2019, when Koepka ripped DeChambeau for his slow play on the course. Last year, DeChambeau jabbed back, ridiculing Koepka\u2019s lack of abs in his app<\/a>earance in ESPN Magazine\u2019s Body Issue.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Koepka offered a blunt assessment of his current relationship with DeChambeau. <\/p>\n

\u201cI wouldn\u2019t even characterize it as a conflict,\u201d he said. \u201cWe don\u2019t like each other.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Through Thursday, Koepka has had the upper-hand at Torrey Pine, finishing first round play with a 2-under 69. DeChambeau posted a a 2-over 73.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
