Season 6 of British cult favorite Inside No. 9<\/em><\/a> delivers more suspense, twisted comedy, and a smattering of the supernatural when it debuts on streaming service BritBox on Tuesday, June 22. And there\u2019s a knight: Sir Derek Jacobi<\/a> (Last Tango in Halifax<\/em><\/a>) guest stars in the anthology series<\/a>\u2019 fifth episode, \u201cHow Do You Plead?\u201d<\/p>\n

The iconic actor plays a dying barrister named Webster, renowned for his successful defenses of clients. But, as he reveals to his home health aide (Reece Shearsmith) in TV Insider\u2019s exclusive clip above, he didn\u2019t always follow the letter of the law. And that\u2019s just the beginning of what turns out to be a very weird night for both men.<\/p>\n

The 82-year-old Jacobi joins an array of top-notch guest stars this season, including Gemma Whelan (Killing Eve<\/em><\/a>), Lindsay Duncan (A Discovery of Witches<\/em><\/a>), Sian Clifford<\/a> (Fleabag<\/em><\/a>), and Line of Duty<\/em><\/a>\u2019s Adrian Dunbar<\/a>, playing himself.<\/p>\n

Other eclectic installments include the first episode, \u201cWuthering Heist,\u201d involving a group of commedia<\/a> dell\u2019arte characters who commit burglary, and \u201cSimon Says,\u201d which spoofs the reaction to the final season of Game<\/a> of Thrones<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton (The League of Gentlemen<\/em>), who write and star in the BAFTA-winning comedy series, also host a series of podcasts<\/a> dissecting the new episodes and favorites from years past.<\/p>\n

All six half-hour episodes of Inside No. 9<\/em>\u2018s sixth season will be available June 22. Previous seasons are also available on BritBox.<\/p>\n
