Here\u2019s how it\u2019s done.<\/p>\n<p>The steps for drawing in OneNote are a bit different between Windows 10 and Mac. We\u2019ll show you how it works in both operating systems.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_Draw_in_OneNote_for_Windows_10\"><\/span>How to Draw in OneNote for Windows 10<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>To get started, launch OneNote and open the notebook that you\u2019d like to draw in. This has the same effect as holding the \u201cCtrl\u201d key and clicking multiple items to select them.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Eraser<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong> Erase ink strokes or parts of a shape.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Drawing Library:<\/strong> Choose a pen or a highlighter with a predefined ink color and thickness from the grid of choices.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Color &amp; Thickness:<\/strong> Choose the color and thickness of your ink.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Draw with Touch:<\/strong> Use the drawing tools with a pen or your finger. This only works if you\u2019re using a touch screen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Free-Form_Drawing\"><\/span>Free-Form Drawing<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>To start drawing, you can select a pen or a highlighter style from the library grid by clicking the one you want to use. There are more options available than what you see in the menu. Choose (1) a pen or a highlighter, (2) the ink\u2019s thickness, and (3) the color of the ink. You can resize it by clicking and dragging the handles. You can also relocate the shape by clicking and dragging it to its new position.<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Edit_Your_Drawings\"><\/span>Edit Your Drawings<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>OneNote provides a few tools for editing your drawings. These can be found in the \u201cEdit\u201d group. Once they\u2019re selected, you can edit them or even move them to a new location.<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Erasing_Your_Drawings\"><\/span>Erasing Your Drawings<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>If you want to remove something that you drew, you can click the drawing and press the \u201cDelete\u201d key on your keyboard.
