A thief\u00a0stole an ambulance\u00a0from outside a Manhattan hospital and took it on a 20 block joyride Saturday afternoon, law enforcement sources said. <\/p>\n

The private emergency vehicle was reported stolen at Mount Sinai West in Hell\u2019s Kitchen at around 4:30 p.m., the sources said.<\/p>\n

It was later found abandoned near Times Square, on West 39th Street near 8th Avenue, sources said.<\/p>\n

The ambulance thief is believed to be a man in his 30s who fled on foot in the Garment District, according to the sources.<\/p>\n
