“#Lorde Shares New \u201cSolstice\u201d Teaser<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

Lorde has shared a new teaser as part of her Solar Power<\/em> rollout. The 21-second clip is called \u201cSolstice,\u201d and finds Lorde sitting on the beach behind a colorful display of flowers and foliage. The official beginning of summer, or summer solstice, occurs tonight at 11:31 p.m. Eastern<\/a>. You can find the visual below and at Lorde\u2019s website<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Lorde made her big return earlier this month with the release of \u201cSolar Power.\u201d She had teased the track days earlier with the single art, which features the singer sprinting across the beach sans pants. The song arrived with a summery music video co-directed by Lorde and previous collaborator Joel Kefali.<\/p>\n

Solar Power<\/em> is Lorde\u2019s long-awaited follow-up to Melodrama<\/em>. Lorde\u2019s new LP does not yet have a release date. Last week, she released a teaser video titled \u201cEvery Perfect Summer\u2019s Gotta Take Its Flight,\u201d which featured a crop circle spelling out \u201cSP.\u201d<\/p>\n
