Take, for example, when it will be set. Is this a story that will be taking place right after the finale, or are we looking towards something weeks or months down the road?<\/p>\n<p>We should note here, for starters, that nothing is 100% confirmed. With that being said, we\u2019re in a position now where we strongly think that there will be some sort of jump forward. Why is that? There are a few pieces of evidence.<\/p>\n<p><strong>No enormous cliffhanger\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 A number of the major story threads from season 12 were tied together, so there\u2019s not a real reason to show the im<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>te aftermath of Nell and Eric\u2019s exit \u2014 unless you want to see the characters\u2019 reactions to it a little bit more.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A chance to introduce new characters\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 We wouldn\u2019t be shocked if at least one new person is brought in beyond Gerald McRaney\u2019s promotion, and a time jump could be a chance to further introduce them. If the writers don\u2019t do this, it could just give the characters an opportunity to settle into their roles.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The real-time format\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 More often than not,\u00a0<em>NCIS: LA\u00a0<\/em>is the sort of show that tends to be set in present-day. They do this mostly because it allows for the writers to do holiday-<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">theme<\/a>d stories and feature things that viewers can directly relate to.<\/p>\n<p>So while we are expecting a time jump, at the same time we hope it\u2019s not one that completely washed the way the events of season 12 \u2014 there better still be mentions of Nell and Eric!
