With bullish short-term voices few and far between, it seems that cryptocurrency just isn\u2019t of interest to investors right now.<\/p>\n<p>Against a backdrop of macro market uncertainty, low volumes and claims of a bull market top, Bitcoin has a lot to do to convince the market that the good times still lie ahead.<\/p>\n<p>Cointelegraph offers five things to consider when charting what might h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>en to BTC\/USD in the coming days. <\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Spotlight_on_the_Fed%E2%80%A6_again\"><\/span>Spotlight on the Fed&#8230; again<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The main focus for investors throughout the economy this week is the Federal Reserve. <\/p>\n<p>After last week\u2019s comments from Chair Jerome Powell, the U.S. dollar made strong gains while stocks then staged a sell-off as market participants repositioned. The Dow Jones, for example, fell 3.5% in a day \u2014 its worst since last October.<\/p>\n<p>The volatility came because Powell hinted that the Fed might soon begin tapering the extent to which it intervenes in the market. This became standard practice as part of its response to coronavirus and the economic shutdowns that followed.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Related:\u00a0<\/strong><strong>4 reasons why Paul Tudor Jones&#8217; 5% Bitcoin exposure advice is difficult for major funds<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>A reduction in purchases, which CNBC <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2021\/06\/18\/the-fed-will-continue-to-dominate-the-market-in-the-week-ahead-after-sell-off.html\">notes<\/a> currently come to around $120 billion per month, therefore presents a noticeable switch-up.<\/p>\n<p>Powell will speak again on Tuesday, this time before the Senate, and it is thought that he will give more information on the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> which he broadly outlined last week.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m most interested certainly in what Powell has to say,\u201d Peter Boockvar, chief investment strategist at Bleakley Global Advisors, said on Friday. <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThey\u2019re all going to give us now the fine print of what was in the statement and what Powell said.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Should surprises appear, the volatility that characterized the past few days could continue. Source: TradingView<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Chinese_bank_deletes_anti-crypto_statement_in_minutes\"><\/span>Chinese bank deletes anti-crypto statement in minutes<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>It\u2019s not a good look for Bitcoin spot price action as the week gets underway \u2014 but who\u2019s to blame?<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the Fed, another economy is wielding its influence on crypto markets again, this time more directly: China.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, the Agricultural Bank of China, the country\u2019s third-largest lender, explicitly stated that its services must not be used for cryptocurrency-related transactions. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cAgricultural Bank of China issued a notice that they will not participate in virtual currency transactions and related activities,\u201d China-oriented news resource 8btc <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/btcinchina\/status\/1406862687313686531\">reported<\/a>, translating the original document for <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">social media<\/a> users. <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cCustomer accounts participating in such activities will be closed and customer relationships will be terminated.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The result of its publication was instantly recognizable \u2014 Bitcoin plummeted by over $1,000 in minutes before rebounding to $33,000.<\/p>\n<p>Such behavior is far from surprising, but patience is now wearing thin over knee-jerk reactions to China. Bitcoin hash rate at levels of mid-2020,\u201d Charles Edwards, CEO of asset manager Capriole, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/caprioleio\/status\/1406498409868148736\">noted<\/a> in a <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> of tweets on the mining crackdown which formed the previous source of Chinese price pressure.<\/p>\n<p>Others argued that Bitcoin has gained new opportunities thanks to the punitive measures from both banks and government \u2014 mining will shift elsewhere, and the network will flourish as a result of making use of friendlier, more reliable jurisdictions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe \u201cChina-dominated\u201d Bitcoin mining era may be coming to an end.\u201d Alex Gladstein, chief strategy officer at the Human Rights Foundation, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/gladstein\/status\/1406799851724017665\">commented<\/a> on a farewell message from one miner in the province of Sichuan. <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cIt will be a source of rich irony for future historians to teach that the world\u2019s free, open, and decentralized monetary network was secured in its early years by individuals inside a repressive dictatorship.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s3.cointelegraph.com\/uploads\/2021-06\/511be4a5-c060-4667-a16f-31de812a0d56.png\"><figcaption style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>BTC\/USD 1-hour candle chart (Bitstamp). A miner rout incentivizes participation on the network thanks to hash rate, and subsequently difficulty, dropping.<\/p>\n<p>The cost of participation thus reduces, and mining becomes a viable proposition for more and more potential entities.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Adam Back, CEO of Blockstream, is at pains to stress that the impact of China on hash rate has been at most around 39% from the top.
