If you\u2019re anything like us, we assume you\u2019ve been following Ben Affleck<\/strong> and Jennifer Lopez<\/strong>\u2019s reunion pretty closely. The drama of it all was just too exciting; shortly after breaking it off with her fianc\u00e9 Alex Rodriguez<\/strong>, J.Lo ran back into the arms of her ex after 17 YEARS apart. All while A-Rod was still holding out hope that they would get back together\u2026<\/p>\n

Well, we\u2019d heard recently the baseball player finally realized that J-Rod was over for good, but that app<\/a>arently didn\u2019t mean the drama was coming to an end\u2026 Now things are getting MORE interesting \u2014 if that\u2019s even possible. We knew Alex would be playing the field, but we didn\u2019t expect to see him hanging out with BEN\u2019S EX!!!<\/p>\n

Page Six<\/em> reported Monday that the former Yankee was spotted hanging with Lindsay Shookus<\/strong>, who dated the Argo director on-and-off from 2017 to 2019. Not only were they hanging, but A-Rod was actually a guest at the SNL producer\u2019s birthday party!<\/p>\n

In a video shared by \u201cFoodie Magician\u201d Josh Beckerman<\/strong>, the baseballer can be seen sitting next to Lindsay at the small backyard gathering, watching a magic show. (You can check it out HERE<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

Has there ever been such a complicated celebrity quadrangle? We mean, the timing would certainly seem like one or both of these exes are sending a message, right? Exes hanging out together? A total high school move!<\/p>\n

But is there REALLY anything going on??<\/p>\n

For the record, a rep for the MLB<\/strong> alum told the outlet:<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is absolutely zero there. They\u2019ve been friends for 15 years.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Hmm\u2026 well, that may be, but it\u2019s still interesting company to keep in light of all this, isn\u2019t it? We mean, we\u2019ve literally never seen them hang out before, but now suddenly they\u2019re sitting side-by-side watching a magic show?<\/p>\n

That being said, the 45-year-old has seemingly had a string of near-misses lately: being allegedly ghosted by Madison LeCroy<\/strong> (the supposed reason behind the J-Rod breakup), working out with ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis<\/strong>, being spotted outside Katie Holmes<\/strong>\u2019 apartment (though apparently just house hunting in her building). And now he\u2019s partying with an old pal who just so happens to be his ex\u2019s new man\u2019s ex. One of these days, something\u2019s got to stick, right? And we\u2019ll be VERY interested to see who the \u201cofficial\u201d rebound is\u2026<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, we\u2019d say Bennifer aren\u2019t too concerned about any drama A-Rod is drumming up. She\u2019s reportedly currently planning her move to Los Angeles to be closer to the Justice League<\/em> star. Alex is already well in her rearview mirror, probably along with whatever lady he chooses to date.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ll say this, though \u2014 we appreciate them all keeping us entertained this summer!<\/p>\n
