Just kidding.<\/p>\n<p>Aster has quickly become the arthouse king of horror with\u00a0<em>Hereditary<\/em> and <em>Midsommar<\/em>, both of which utilized\u00a0his visually unique storytelling methods circled around trauma and grief. He is now set to write and direct <em><strong>Dis<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ointment Blvd<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0starring <strong>Joaquin Phoenix<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Nathan Lane<\/strong>, <strong>Patti LuPone<\/strong>, <strong>Amy Ryan<\/strong>, and <strong>Kylie Rogers<\/strong> have now joined the talented yet perplexing line-up that has us wondering what the heck this movie will even be.<\/p>\n<p><!-- SlashFilm_300x250_In_Post -->Deadline reports <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> of the all-star additions. <strong>A24<\/strong> is back to finance and produce, but information on the film\u2019s plot remains under lock and key.<\/p>\n<p>Nathan Lane dipped his toe into horror with the short-lived\u00a0<em>Penny Dreadful: City of Angels<\/em>,\u00a0but I am curious about what role he will take under Aster\u2019s direction because he\u2019s naturally so charismatic, and Broadway royalty to boot. Patti Lupone is also a Broadway star with two Grammys and two Tony Awards under her belt. The addition of both Lane and Lupone makes me wonder if there will be musical numbers or singing involved in this project.<\/p>\n<p>Amy Ryan is probably best known and loved for her comedic role in <em>The Office<\/em> as well as her Oscar-nominated\u00a0work in <em>Gone Baby Gone<\/em>, so it would be a blast to see her lean into Aster\u2019s particular brand of storytelling. She\u2019s also great at feeding off of her costars\u2019 energy, so her chemistry with this cast should prove engaging. 17-year-old Kylie Rogers is the least-known of the bunch, but she\u2019s had a recurring role on <em>Yellowstone <\/em>and starred in <em>The Whispers<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-538644 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/d13ezvd6yrslxm.cloudfront.net\/wp\/wp-content\/images\/Nathan-Lane-700x300.jpg\" alt=\"Nathan Lane\" width=\"700\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/d13ezvd6yrslxm.cloudfront.net\/wp\/wp-content\/images\/Nathan-Lane.jpg 700w, https:\/\/d13ezvd6yrslxm.cloudfront.net\/wp\/wp-content\/images\/Nathan-Lane-360x154.jpg 360w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_Road_to_Take\"><\/span>What Road to Take<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>For now, all we know is that <em>Disappointment Blvd. <\/em>is described as \u201can intimate, decades-spanning portrait of one of the most successful entrepreneurs of all time.\u201d\u00a0 There have also been several theories as to what genre this film will be exactly.<br \/>\n<!-- SlashFilm_300x250_In_Post_2 -->For example, Aster has mentioned that his next film will be a \u201cnightmare comedy\u201d and \u201ca surrealist horror film set in an alternate present.\u201d It\u2019s hard to tell, but it will be shocking if Aster will shy away from horror entirely or if there will be singing and musical numbers involved somehow. With these new actor additions, comedy elements also don\u2019t seem like too far-fetched. And if you rewatch <em>Hereditary<\/em>, there are small bits of comedy sprinkled within the utterly disturbing scenes of food allergy attacks, beheadings, and invasions of naked cult members. <em>Midsommar<\/em> also blend genres, with Florence Pugh\u2019s Dani battling her complex attraction towards the culture and traditions of the H\u00e5rga. With this cast assembled, the style and plot seem to be fair <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a>, perhaps an amalgamation of genres.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m a big fan of Aster\u2019s work, and I can\u2019t wait to see what exactly is going on here.
