\n The miniature of the Nostromo spaceship used in \u201cAlien,\u201d one of Tom Cruise\u2019s fighter pilot helmets from \u201cTop Gun\u201d and a Darth Vader costume from the \u201cStar Wars\u201d 1977 promotional tour are among the highlights in an upcoming auction of movie props.<\/p>\n

The Prop Store\u2019s Aug. 26 and 27 virtual auction \u2014 the company\u2019s first event from Los Angeles \u2014 features over 850 items from classic films, including props, memorabilia and costumes from movies<\/a> like \u201cRaiders of the Lost Ark,\u201d \u201cThe Godfather Part II,\u201d \u201cHook,\u201d \u201cThe Hunger Game<\/a>s\u201d and \u201cRocky.\u201d<\/p>\n

An 11-foot model miniature of the Nostromo that was used during the filming of \u201cAlien\u201d has the highest pre-auction estimate ($300,000-$500,000). The Darth Vader costume from the \u201cA New Hope\u201d promotional tour carries a pre-auction estimate of $150,000-$300,000, while the Cruise\u2019s \u201cMaverick\u201d helmet from \u201cTop Gun\u201d is expected to reach bids in the $50,000 range.<\/p>\n

A pair of classic automobiles from Quentin Tarantino\u2019s \u201cOnce Upon a Time in Hollywood\u201d \u2014 the yellow Cadillac Coupe De Ville driven by Leonardo DiCaprio\u2019s character and the blue Karmann Ghia driven by Brad Pitt\u2019s \u2014 are also on the auction block, as are John Candy\u2019s \u201cBarf\u201d wardrobe from \u201cSpaceballs,\u201d a pair of Sylvester Stallone\u2019s boxing gloves from \u201cRocky\u201d and a stunt costume from \u201cV for Vendetta.\u201d<\/p>\n

For the less-deep-pocketed movie fans, other less expensive movie props include a Rehydrate Dehydrated Pizza Hut wrapp<\/a>er from \u201cBack to the Future II,\u201d a piece of Iron Man\u2019s suit from the 2008 blockbuster, a \u201cRaiders of the Lost Ark\u201d poster signed by Harrison Ford and more.<\/p>\n
