Scottie Pippen knows how to win. And the six-time NBA champion thinks Kevin Durant could take some notes from fellow noted winner LeBron James.<\/p>\n

\u201cJames is a complete team player who understands team and winning. Has [Durant] gotten to that level yet? He went home,\u201d Pippen told Yahoo Sports<\/a>. \u201cI think he still has some learning to do in terms of what it takes to will a team to victory.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pippen was asked if Durant elevated his game<\/a> to another level this postseason. He immedia<\/a>tely compared Durant to James.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel like {Durant has] always been this player,\u201d Pippen said. \u201cBut I see a lot of a talk now going on about, \u2018Has he surpassed LeBron James?\u2019 Surpassing LeBron James takes a little bit more than an individual\u2019s effort.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pippen suited up alongside Michael Jordan, dominating the NBA in the 1990s. While Pippen did mention the Nets dealt with injuries this postseason, he still thinks Durant has room for growth.<\/p>\n
