(POLL)<\/strong>&#8221;<\/p>\n<div> There\u2019s good <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> and bad news when it comes to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/tvinsider.com\/people\/morris-chestnut\">Morris Chestnut<\/a> this fall on Fox on Tuesdays. We might not see as much of him as Dr. Barrett Cain on <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/tvinsider.com\/show\/the-resident\"><em>The Resident<\/em><\/a> as we\u2019d like, but we will see him following the medical drama on the new <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> <em>Our Kind of People<\/em> (on which he is a series regular).<\/p>\n<p><em>The Resident<\/em> has already built in a potential exit for Cain: In the Season 4 finale, he received a job offer at Johns Hopkins. \u201cInterestingly, we didn\u2019t know about the Lee Daniels show when we made this decision,\u201d co-showrunner and executive producer Peter Elkoff told TV Insider. \u201cWe just liked the idea that he\u2019s going to make a decision to stay or go and we\u2019ll use him as we can and as the story fits. It turned out to be a really good decision that we made that we left it open-ended since we are not going to be able to have him for every episode. You will see him, but not in an episode after episode way.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But should Cain stay (and just be offscreen when Chestnut isn\u2019t available)? Or should he leave and occasionally drop in? We examine the possibilities below \u2014 we need to have him around in some capacity! \u2014 then invite you to vote in a poll.<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Cain_Stays_at_Chastain\"><\/span>Cain Stays at Chastain<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Just because we won\u2019t see Cain in every episode doesn\u2019t mean he can\u2019t still \u201cbe\u201d at Chastain all the time. It is quite easy to say he\u2019s just in surgery or busy elsewhere and simply not show him. He can even have Dr. Billie Sutton (<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/tvinsider.com\/people\/jessica-lucas\">Jessica Lucas<\/a>) step in for him because he\u2019s busy elsewhere. After all, he may have been somewhat redeemed, but he\u2019s still Cain. It\u2019s easy to imagine scenarios that lead him to drop by from time to time and perhaps need to have Dr. Kit Voss (<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/tvinsider.com\/people\/jane-leeves\">Jane Leeves<\/a>) grant him privileges to work at the hospital.
